Theme Sets

Six palettes, one of them a print set for the pack that goes in front of a client. Pin one to a tile and the series colors, the axis, the grid and the tooltip move together, with nobody typing a hex value.

Who may write one

A workspace reads the list and pins an entry to a widget. Authoring stays with the operator, and the six starters refuse deletion with a suggestion to clone, so a variant is always a copy rather than an edit somebody else inherits.

A widget may bypass the set entirely with a fixed list, a per-series map, or green and red by sign · conditional formatting then overrides individual points on top of whichever applied
High saturation and high contrast, for a board somebody is going to look at from across a room. It carries a separate dark sequence, so the swap on a dark card is a chosen set of steps rather than an automatic flip.

The mechanism

How it works.

01

A set is more than a list of colors

It carries the series sequence for light and for dark, the axis stroke, the grid line, the card fill, the tooltip fill and the title color, plus three renderer-specific values: the fill inside a donut, the outline between treemap tiles and the funnel accent.

02

The default one follows the workspace's own color

Five of its eight entries are the design system's own custom properties, so those follow whatever primary color a workspace has set and re-skin themselves when the dark class appears. The last three are fixed hex, added because the variable slots came out too close to white. It is also the one starter with no second sequence, relying on the variables to do the swapping instead.

03

Past eight series, the colors start over

The renderer indexes the sequence by position and wraps at the end, so a ninth series repeats the first. Eight is the practical ceiling before two things on the same chart share a color.

04

Who may write one

The catalog is platform-wide and only the operator adds to it. A workspace reads the list and pins any entry to a widget. The six starters can be edited by the operator but never deleted, so cloning is the way to a variant.

Where it sits

One moment in every number.

Every number passes through the same seven. Theme Sets is the lit one, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

8 facts
Starters
Adoptiv Default, Vivid, Pastel, Mono Blue, Mono Green, Print
Sequence
Eight entries, cycled by position once the data runs past them
Scope
Pinned to a widget. There is no board-level palette, so dressing a whole board means pinning it on each tile
Dark mode
Five of the six carry a second sequence, read off the document class and swapped without a refetch. The default one carries none and lets its variables re-skin instead
Workspaces
Read and pin. Authoring stays with the operator
Deletion
Starters refuse it and answer with a suggestion to clone
Overrides
A widget may bypass the set with a fixed list, a per-series map, or green-and-red by sign
Not the same as
Conditional Formatting, which overrides a slot for individual points that break a rule

12 capabilities

Seven data shapes, twenty-two visuals, shareable without a login.

Dashboard Sharing

Hand a board to a team or a CRM role, at read or at edit, by the person who built it. Roles outlive people, which is why a share points at one, not a mailbox.

Dashboards

The board a team opens on holds the figures that team is judged by, not everybody's. Six columns to lay them out in, and your own tab opens first.

Cross-Filtering

Click the bar for one queue and the rest of the board goes with it. The next question gets asked by pointing at the answer, and undone by clicking again.

Drill-Through

Some answers will not fit on the board that raised the question. A click leaves carrying the value it stood on, and lands on a board already narrowed to it.

Pivot Tables

Agents down the side, weeks across the top, and the number you care about in every cell. The shape finance asks for when a chart will not settle the argument.

Reference Lines

The number that was promised, drawn across the same chart as the number that arrived, so the floor reads itself against its target, not yesterday's bars.

Comparison Periods

Nobody has to remember what last week looked like, or dig out the sheet it was written on. The same figure is counted again over the window before it.

Filter Trees

The report that needs two exceptions and a date range stays one widget, instead of three tiles that nearly agree. Seventeen operators in a nested and-or tree.

Bucketing & Grouping

Ten thousand plus never turns up before two hundred on a board the floor is watching. Group by day through year, by equal bands, or by breakpoints you set.

Public Links

Send a client the board without giving them a login. The address works until the day you name, dies the moment you revoke it, and leaves a row explaining why.

Embedded Widgets

A figure on the screen where the work happens, not on a board somebody must remember to open. Built once, worked out against the records of whoever opens it.

Call Analytics

How many calls, how many answered, how long they ran, how many missed, counted off the records the switch already wrote. Not a sample or last night's export.
