What is a CRM email client?
An inbox built into your CRM, so you read and answer customer email beside the customer’s record instead of in a separate app. Adoptiv’s works with Gmail, Microsoft 365 and any IMAP mailbox.
Can I connect more than one mailbox?
Each person has one active mailbox at a time. Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365, and IMAP mailboxes all work.
Does archiving in Adoptiv archive in my mailbox?
On Gmail and Microsoft mailboxes, yes: archiving and deleting travel back. On an IMAP mailbox, read and starred marks travel back, but archiving and deleting stay in Adoptiv.
What happens to my mail if I disconnect?
Messages attached to a lead or a deal are kept. Everything else from that mailbox is deleted from Adoptiv.
Can I block remote images in email?
They are blocked by default. A bar on each message offers to load them for that one message, so tracking pixels don’t fire just because you opened it.
What keyboard shortcuts does the inbox have?

Will mail I read in Adoptiv show as read on my phone?
Yes. Read and starred marks are sent back over your mailbox connection, so your phone and Adoptiv agree.
