Voice Broadcasting

Nobody dials and no seat is paid for while the list gets through. One message, recorded by you or spoken from your text, reaches all of it: a person hears it live, an answering machine takes the drop, and a keypress is the only route to a human.

Pressing 1 is the only edge on this picture that occupies a seat. The keypress is written onto the call, so the route to a person is a fact in reporting rather than a claim.

The mechanism

How it works.

01

Build the message once

Upload a recording, or type the words and have them spoken back, with the recipient's name merged into the line. Import the list, cut it into the segment you want reached, and that one message covers everybody on it.

02

It works the list while the floor does something else

Nobody sits at a desk feeding it numbers. It works down the list on the schedule you set in each recipient's timezone, presenting the caller ID you chose, and comes back around to the numbers that did not land at the redial interval you set.

03

Classed before a word plays

Detection separates a live person from an answering machine at the moment something picks up. A person hears the message where they stand; a machine has it dropped into voicemail rather than left with dead air.

04

Nothing rings a headset until somebody asks it to

Press one to be put through to somebody, press a key to confirm, or answer a survey question on the keypad. Until a recipient does that, no seat is occupied and no headset has rung.

Where it sits

Two moments in every call.

Every call passes through the same seven. Voice Broadcasting is the lit ones, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.
