What Goes Wrong Today, and What Changes.
Today
Your busiest admissions morning opens and the queue never empties. An applicant who waits too long calls the next school.
With Adoptiv
Announcements point callers to the online form while they wait, and a callback keeps their place once the wait passes your limit. A full program sends callers to the next team, not a dead line.
CallbacksToday
For two days the phones are staffed by faculty, marketing staff and student volunteers, and only admissions can approve a place.
With Adoptiv
Skills-based routing sends program questions to the person who can decide, and a transfer moves the applicant across without retelling. Supervisors can whisper to a nervous volunteer mid-call.
Skills-based routingToday
Between offer and start date the applicant goes quiet, and housing, financial aid and enrollment tasks stall.
With Adoptiv
Preview dialing opens the applicant’s record before the call, and one outcome code starts the follow-up or stops it for someone already enrolled. A deadline reminder goes out as a text.
Preview dialingToday
Admitted students abroad need a call before a visa deadline, and a US number ringing at four in the morning goes unanswered.
With Adoptiv
Take local numbers in the countries you recruit from, and build a calling schedule for each region, so calls only go out when people there are awake.

Set Up Lines and Queues
Point your inquiry and admissions numbers at call flows, with queues by program, callbacks and the hours for each season.

Admissions Call Center Software, Built for the Peak Weeks.
Admissions call center software answers, routes and follows up the calls that decide your intake: inquiry lines, admissions hotlines, financial aid questions and student services. Adoptiv runs them as one education call center with the CRM built in, so every call and text lands on the applicant’s record.
On peak days a call queue holds callers with announcements, and a callback keeps their place once the wait passes your limit. A queue has four separate exits, so a program that has filled sends callers to the next team. Skills-based routing sends each question to someone who can answer it.
Between offer and enrollment, preview dialing opens the applicant’s record before each call, and admissions texting sends deadline reminders from the number your team calls on. Preview dialing comes with Dialer Plus. For international student calling, take local numbers abroad and keep calls to hours when people there are awake.
For a higher education contact center that changes shape through the year, named holiday calendars and weekly business hours carry their own routing, so a campus closure and an enrollment-week rush each get the right setup. An enrollment call center also needs to see where the wait is building: live monitoring shows every call in progress.

Your Questions, Answered.
What is admissions call center software?
Phone software for admissions and enrollment teams: queues and callbacks for inquiry lines, routing to the right person, and outbound calls and texts to applicants, with every conversation on the applicant’s record.
What happens when every line is busy on a peak day?
Callers wait in a queue with a greeting and announcements. Past your wait limit they can take a callback and keep their place, or go to one of four exits you set, such as another team.
Can we call applicants abroad from local numbers?
Yes. Local numbers are available in more than 140 countries. Some countries ask for proof of a local address or a registered business before a number is issued.
Can volunteers and part-time staff take calls?
Yes. They take calls in the browser with nothing to install, skills decide which calls reach them, and a supervisor can whisper to them mid-call without the caller hearing.
Does Adoptiv connect to our student information system?
Not yet. There is no built-in connection to student information or admissions systems, so the applicant record is Adoptiv’s own CRM. You can import applicant lists in bulk.
Is Adoptiv FERPA compliant?
Adoptiv makes no FERPA or other compliance claim, and its SOC 2 audit is in progress. Call recording, roles and permissions and outcome codes help you handle records carefully; the obligation stays with your institution. This is general information, not legal advice; check with your own counsel.
Can we text applicants about deadlines?
Yes. A text step in a sequence sends a deadline reminder from the number your team calls on, and replies land on the applicant’s record. STOP replies are not acted on for you, so do-not-text is a field your team sets.
Can Adoptiv verify who is on the line?
No. Screening checks do-not-call lists; it does not confirm a caller’s identity, so checks on who you are speaking with stay with your team’s own process.
Is preview dialing included in the free trial?
No. Preview, power and predictive dialing come with Dialer Plus and Enterprise. Queues, callbacks, routing, numbers and texting are in the trial.
Can different seasons have different hours?
Yes. Named holiday calendars and weekly schedules each carry their own routing, so a campus closure can send callers to a voicemail box while enrollment week opens a staffed queue.
