Field Groups & Layouts
Some of what you collect is not for everyone on the floor. Put those fields in a section and the section is what you close, once, per profile, instead of opening and shutting a hundred fields one at a time.

How it works.
You draw them, nothing arrives drawn
A new workspace has no sections at all, so the first one is yours to name. Membership is single: a field belongs to one or to none, and one left outside every section behaves as fully open, which is the fallback rather than a fault.
Showing on the record, hiding in the table
A section can be kept off the grid and still be edited on the record. It is the difference between data your reps maintain and data your reps scroll past, and it is one switch.
Close a section, not a hundred fields
A permission profile gets view, edit or delete against a whole section. Absent any entry the section is open, so the model starts permissive and you close what needs closing rather than opening a hundred fields one at a time.
What withholding actually covers
A withheld section keeps its values off the record and out of the list. The names of the fields and the options they offer are not a secret, and a section can be reordered or recolored without touching who may read it.
Two moments in every record.
Every record passes through the same seven. Field Groups & Layouts is the lit ones, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

The specifics.
8 facts- Seeded
- None. A workspace opens with no sections and you cut the ones you want
- Covers
- The fields you added. Built-in columns on a lead are not sorted this way
- Membership
- One section per field, or none. Fields outside every section stay open
- Table switch
- A section can be edited on the record while kept out of the grid
- Grants
- View, edit and delete per profile. View and edit are the two that decide anything
- Default
- No entry means full access. Restriction is something you add
- Reach
- Values are stripped from the record and the list. Names and option lists are not
- Deleting
- Removing a section removes its fields and sweeps the values they held
What else writes to this record.
A record is worked by more than one part of the system at once. These are the ones that put something on it, or read it back.

12 capabilitiesThe system of record the phone writes to directly - nothing to sync.
One row whether it is a person or a company. The half that matters on a floor: who holds this record right now, and what happens to it while nobody does.
Each stage carries its own odds, so where a deal sits is already most of a forecast. Unlimited pipelines, seven seeded, every stage change written down.
Name the stages your floor actually argues about, color them and rate them hot, warm or cold. Six fixed categories keep last quarter comparable with this one.
The same source can never arrive spelled three ways. Ten come seeded and sealed, yours sit beside them, and renaming one carries every lead holding it.
Ask the same question tomorrow and the list narrows the same way, because the server settles it. Eighteen operators, fitted to the kind of field they sit on.
Tick the rows and act on them now. A mixed selection never fails whole: the records you may not touch are skipped and counted, and the rest all go through.
Map the columns once and walk away. A file of any size is read a piece at a time, a failed row never stops the run, and a restart carries on where it stopped.
The same person landing on your list twice is what this stops. Checked on the email, then the phone, as the record is written, with no score to argue over.
Nobody writes this up. A field change keeps both readings, before and after, beside the notes, mail and tasks, so it still means something in six months.
Every exchange with this lead on one line: calls, voicemails, mail and text. A call lands on the right record by the number it reached, linked by nobody.
A thing owed, by a named person, by a date. At the hour you set it leaves the product to find them, rather than sitting in a list waiting to be spotted.
A number, a window, and somebody standing against it. Attainment is worked out from won deals and logged work as you open it, so nothing sits going stale.
The rest of the platform.
Five more categories, all on the same record and the same bill. Each card names three of its capabilities, so you can tell from here whether it is worth opening.
