Market research
Every Dial Ends in a Code You Can Defend.A market research dialer that sits under your CATI script, not in place of it.
Adoptiv is the dialing and record layer under your CATI script, not the script itself. Work hard cells on preview dialing, hold calling windows per timezone, code every attempt with your own outcome codes, and keep both sides of every interview on separate channels for validation.

What Goes Wrong Today, and What Changes.
Today
Your response rate is only as good as the codes behind it, and an interviewer under quota pressure picks whatever ends the call fastest.
With Adoptiv
Outcome codes are your own, grouped by reporting category, so a soft refusal is never filed with a hard one. A call cannot close without a code.
Call outcomesToday
A client audit asks which interviews were monitored, and a supervisor’s memory is not evidence.
With Adoptiv
Supervisors listen to live interviews unheard and whisper to the interviewer alone. Both sides record on separate channels, so what was said can be checked against what was keyed.
Listen, whisper and bargeToday
Half the shift goes into a cell that filled at four, while the hard cell sits untouched.
With Adoptiv
Each open cell is a saved view with its own filters, so interviewers work the cell that still needs completes, on preview dialing.
Saved viewsToday
One respondent books an interview for 7pm Tuesday. Another asks never to be called again.
With Adoptiv
A callback is booked against the case for the time they gave, and a refusal goes straight onto your internal do-not-call list before the next release.
CallbacksInto the Field in Three Steps.
Load the Sample
Import cases with the fields that define your cells, and save a view for each open cell.
Set Codes and Windows
Add your own outcome codes by reporting category, and calling windows for each timezone you call into.
Field and Validate
Interviewers work each cell, supervisors listen and whisper, and both sides of every interview are recorded.
A Dialing Mode for Every Cell.
Set the mode per campaign, so a hard cell and a large one can run side by side.
The case opens first and the interviewer chooses when to dial, with a review timer you set.
Lines open as interviewers free up, from one to five each, set per campaign.
Dials ahead of free interviewers inside an abandoned-call limit you set. Keep it low, because an abandoned call costs a case.
A Market Research Dialer, Under Your CATI Script.
A market research dialer works your sample case by case, puts an outcome code on every attempt and keeps interviews recorded for validation. Adoptiv is a CATI dialer in that sense: the dialing and record layer that runs beside your CATI software, which still runs the questionnaire.
Codes come first. Call outcome codes are your own, grouped by reporting category, so survey disposition codes stay consistent: a soft refusal is never filed with a hard one or a non-working number. A call cannot close without one, and a refusal can go straight onto your internal do-not-call list.
Each open cell is a saved view, so interviewers work the cell that still needs completes. Preview dialing suits low-incidence cells, and power or predictive dialing suits large sample, on Dialer Plus. Calling windows are held per timezone, and a callback is booked for the time a respondent gave. Each case is dialed from the number with the best answer history for it.
For interviewer monitoring, supervisors listen and whisper on live interviews, and both sides record on separate channels, so answers can be checked against what was keyed. As a telephone survey dialer it covers the phone side of fieldwork; there is no quota engine or survey scripting.

A Market Research Dialer vs Hand Dialing and a Call Sheet.
| What | Hand dialing and a call sheet | With Adoptiv |
|---|---|---|
| Outcome codes | Hand dialing and a call sheet: Whatever ends the call fastest | With Adoptiv: Your codes, required on every call |
| Hard cells | Hand dialing and a call sheet: Left until last | With Adoptiv: A saved view interviewers work first |
| Monitoring evidence | Hand dialing and a call sheet: A supervisor’s memory | With Adoptiv: Live listening plus two-channel recordings |
| Appointments | Hand dialing and a call sheet: Written on a sheet | With Adoptiv: A callback booked against the case |
| Refusals | Hand dialing and a call sheet: Dialed again in the next release | With Adoptiv: On your do-not-call list at once |
Adoptiv is not CATI software: there is no questionnaire scripting or quota engine. The dialer is live on Dialer Plus and Enterprise.
Your Questions, Answered.
What is a market research dialer?
A dialer built for telephone fieldwork: it works your sample case by case, puts an outcome code on every attempt and keeps interviews recorded for validation. Adoptiv does the dialing and the record; your CATI software runs the questionnaire.
Is Adoptiv CATI software?
No. There is no questionnaire scripting, routing or quota check inside an interview. Adoptiv is the dialing and record layer that runs beside your CATI software.
Does Adoptiv manage quotas?
Not yet. A saved view per cell shows the cases still needed, but nothing stops a dial into a cell that filled mid-shift, and there is no replicate release or attempt pattern per case.
Can Adoptiv report response and cooperation rates?
Not built in. Outcome codes are grouped by reporting category, but there is no standard response, cooperation or refusal rate calculation, so you work those out yourself.
Which dialing modes can interviewers use?
Preview, power and predictive, set per campaign, on Dialer Plus and Enterprise. Dialer minutes are billed per minute from your prepaid wallet.
How does interviewer monitoring work?
A supervisor picks a live interview from the board and listens without the respondent or interviewer hearing, then can whisper to the interviewer alone. The interview’s recording carries on underneath.
Do survey calls need Do Not Call checks?
Genuine research calls generally fall outside the telemarketing Do Not Call rules, but that ends the moment a call carries any sales element, and other rules on calling hours and prerecorded calls still apply. The list that matters most is your own: a refusal goes straight onto it. This is general information, not legal advice; check with your own counsel.
Does Adoptiv hold research accreditations?
No. Adoptiv holds no research accreditation such as ISO 20252, and its SOC 2 audit is in progress. There are no per-project retention or data-separation controls yet.
Can respondents get a confirmation text?
Yes, where they agreed to one: a text confirming the appointment they booked, from the number that will ring them.
