Send later lets you schedule emails to send later: you write the message now and it leaves at the time you pick. Snooze works the other way: it hides a thread you can’t act on yet and brings it back when you can. Adoptiv’s inbox has both.
How to schedule an email: write it, choose send later and pick 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, tomorrow, or any time in the picker. The email waits in your drafts marked as scheduled. It goes out at most once, so no customer gets it twice, and if a send fails it comes back to drafts instead of retrying. To change it, cancel the hold first.
To snooze email, choose later today, tomorrow morning, this weekend or next week, or any date up to a year ahead. Presets are worked out in your own time zone, so tomorrow morning means your morning. A snoozed thread is back in the list the moment its time passes, and within five minutes it is marked unread so it stands out.
Snoozed threads are hidden by default, with a view that shows only them and another that shows everything. Held emails are still covered by open tracking, all inside the CRM email client.

How do I schedule an email to send later?

Can I cancel a scheduled email?
Yes. Cancel the hold and the email goes back to your drafts with its schedule cleared, any time before it starts sending.
What does snoozing an email do?
It hides the thread until the time you choose. Then it is back in your list and marked unread, so it stands out.
How far ahead can I snooze?
Up to a year. Pick later today, tomorrow morning, this weekend or next week, or any date in the picker.
What happens if a scheduled email fails to send?
It goes back to your drafts and is not retried, because a duplicate in a customer’s inbox is worse than pressing send again.
Can I edit an email after scheduling it?
Cancel the hold first, make your change, then schedule it again. Edits made once sending has started arrive too late.
Where do snoozed emails go?
They are hidden from the list until their time. One view shows only snoozed threads, and another shows everything.
Is a scheduled email still tracked?
Yes. Open and click tracking is added as it is sent, so a held email is tracked like any other.
