Microsoft Teams

Pick Teams on a booking and the join link is made and written into the invitation guests receive, so nobody has to chase it in a follow-up message. Paste in a standing room you already own and it travels the same way.

One route turns a task into a meeting and writes the joining address back. Nothing in the interface calls it, and there is no amend and no cancel on this provider at all.

Rescheduling moves the booking and sends Microsoft nothing
The connection is real and a creation call behind it works through Microsoft's own interface. No screen calls that route, so today this is a connection rather than a button.

The mechanism

How it works.

01

Connect once and it stays connected

Consent covers online meetings read-write, calendar read-write and reading who you are, plus offline access, so the connection keeps working without somebody signing in again every morning. It is stored against your user on the workspace integration row.

02

Microsoft makes the meeting, then it lands on the booking

One route turns the booking into a Teams meeting through Microsoft's own online-meetings interface and writes the joining address back onto it. That is a separate call from the calendar write, which is exactly what makes Teams a different shape from Google Meet.

03

Or bring an address you already hold

The conferencing chooser will also take one you paste, for a standing room somebody else owns. Either way the booking ends up holding a single joining address rather than two competing ones.

04

The address travels with the invitation

Once it is on the booking, the calendar entry carries it in the description, and in the location field as well where you did not type one of your own. Guests get it in the invitation rather than in a follow-up message.

Where it sits

Two moments in every message.

Every message passes through the same seven. Microsoft Teams is the lit ones, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

Implemented
Creation. A reschedule moves the booking and the entry, and the joining address stays the one already made
Where it is made
From the booking form, on the same save that writes the calendar entry
In the booking form
Offered in the conferencing list, and it will take an address you supply instead of making one
What a supplied address gets you
The calendar entry carries it in the description always, and in the location field only where you left the location empty
Rescheduling
Moves the booking and the calendar entry. The joining address does not change, so nobody needs a new one
Not the same as
Zoom, whose room is amended and withdrawn with the booking as well as created with it

More in Email & Calendar

12 capabilities

Webmail, four mailbox connections, tracking, calendar and meetings.

Webmail

The thread and the lead it belongs to are one screen apart, not one tab apart. Snooze, send later, and a reading pane that runs nothing the sender wrote.

Gmail Sync

Mail is here without anybody pressing refresh or forwarding anything, filed against the lead holding the address. Google knocks the moment something changes.

Outlook & Microsoft 365

The mailbox stays connected, and a message somebody moved is not sitting here twice. Outlook and Microsoft 365 over Graph, picking up only what changed.

Exchange Sync

A Microsoft mailbox brings its diary and address book with it, and whether it sits in Microsoft 365 or on a server in your building is worked out for you.

IMAP & SMTP

The connection for a mailbox nobody hosts for you. We sign in for real before saving the hosts and ports, so a typo is caught while you are still at the form.

Email Templates

Templates with merge variables, organized into groups and granted per team, so the answer your best rep writes becomes the answer everybody sends.

Template Permissions

Regulated copy stays with the people allowed to send it. Filing a template into a group is what shares it, so there is no second step for anybody to forget.

Open & Click Tracking

What does not count is the useful part: a rep opening their own message, a crawler, the same person twice in five minutes. A figure a supervisor can act on.

Snooze & Send Later

Park a thread and it comes back at the hour you named, unread, so nobody walks past it. Hold a send and it leaves at the hour you named, once, never twice.

Email Signatures

Nobody retypes their sign-off. It is held once per mailbox and added on the way out, so mail from the platform arrives looking like mail from a person.

Google Meet

The join link is made by the calendar itself, on the same save that books the meeting, so nobody hunts for it later. One Google account is the whole setup.

Email-to-Record Matching

Mail files itself against the lead, on a rule short enough to print: the addresses on the lead, matched exactly. No domain guessing, and nothing to dispute.
