Bulk Import

Map the columns once and walk away. It works through in the background five hundred rows at a time, and a comma separated file remembers where it stopped, so a restart carries on rather than making you upload the whole thing twice.

A failed row never stops the run · only a problem with the file itself does
The rows that failed are downloadable as their own file, with the reason and every original column still on them. Fix those and re-upload the small file; the fifty-one thousand that landed stay where they are.

The mechanism

How it works.

01

Upload, map, look, then start

Headers are lowercased and stripped of punctuation, then matched against every field's name, its label and its known aliases. The automatic pass gives each target to the first header that claims it, and you correct the rest by hand before anything is written.

02

It runs behind you, in pieces

Rows are streamed rather than loaded and handled five hundred at a time. A comma separated run hands the queue back every minute and picks up from the byte it stopped on; a workbook goes through in one sitting.

03

A refusal is a line in a report

A row needs both a first and a last name; without either it is put aside. The first two thousand refusals are kept with their reason and download as a file carrying your original columns. Past that they are counted rather than listed.

04

You choose what an existing lead means

Skip it, update it from the file, or write the row regardless. Updating writes every cell that has something in it, so it does overwrite; what it will not do is blank out a value because your spreadsheet left that column empty, and it never touches tags or ownership.

Where it sits

One moment in every record.

Every record passes through the same seven. Bulk Import is the lit one, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

The specifics.

7 facts
Formats
Comma separated files and Excel workbooks. The dialog asks for twenty-five megabytes, the service accepts a hundred and twenty, and there is no row ceiling under that
Mapping
Sixty-eight standard fields plus your own, matched on name, label or alias
Matching style
Exact once case and punctuation are normalized, never approximate
Picking up again
A comma separated file resumes from its offset. A workbook begins at row one
Duplicates
Skip is what it does unless you say otherwise. Or update, or write regardless
Set for the run
Who the leads go to, and tags. Stage and source are not on the form at all
Not screened
Rows are not put through do-not-call checking as they land

11 capabilities

The system of record the phone writes to directly - nothing to sync.

Deals & Pipelines

Each stage carries its own odds, so where a deal sits is already most of a forecast. Unlimited pipelines, seven seeded, every stage change written down.

Lead Stages

Name the stages your floor actually argues about, color them and rate them hot, warm or cold. Six fixed categories keep last quarter comparable with this one.

Field Groups & Layouts

Some of what you collect is not for everyone on the floor. Close a whole section once per profile instead of opening and shutting a hundred fields one by one.

Saved Views

Hand a list to a CRM role rather than a person and the question outlives whoever first asked it. A new hire opens the board instead of rebuilding it daily.

Advanced Filtering

Ask the same question tomorrow and the list narrows the same way, because the server settles it. Eighteen operators, fitted to the kind of field they sit on.

Bulk Actions

Tick the rows and act on them now. A mixed selection never fails whole: the records you may not touch are skipped and counted, and the rest all go through.

Activities & Timeline

Nobody writes this up. A field change keeps both readings, before and after, beside the notes, mail and tasks, so it still means something in six months.

Touchpoints

Every exchange with this lead on one line: calls, voicemails, mail and text. A call lands on the right record by the number it reached, linked by nobody.

Tasks & Reminders

A thing owed, by a named person, by a date. At the hour you set it leaves the product to find them, rather than sitting in a list waiting to be spotted.

Roles & Permissions

The rep two desks over cannot open the book you are working, and one BPO client never sees the next. Sixteen permissions, sharing rules across branches.

Goals & Leaderboards

A number, a window, and somebody standing against it. Attainment is worked out from won deals and logged work as you open it, so nothing sits going stale.
