Writing to the CRM

Nodes that change the record rather than the call: tags, lists, stages, ownership, and creating a lead that did not exist a minute ago.

Add to Caller Filter

Adds the caller's number to a block filter.

Adds the caller's number to the selected Caller Filter group, then continues.

When to use it. Auto-block abusive or spam callers mid-flow so they're screened next time.

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after adding the caller to the filter.

Create Lead

Creates a lead from an unknown caller.

Creates a new lead from the caller's number, pre-filling the fields you choose, then continues - the rest of the flow treats them as a known lead (CONTACT_ID is set).

When to use it. Wire to the "No" branch of If Existing Lead to capture first-time callers.

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after creating the lead.
Worth knowing
  • Pick a field and a default value; use Caller ID / Called Number as values.
  • Country defaults to your org; state from the area code. The new lead is owned by the workspace owner.

Manage List

Adds/moves the lead to a list, or to the internal DNC.

Adds or moves the matched lead to a list, or adds them to your internal Do-Not-Call list.

When to use it. Segment callers, or capture opt-outs into your DNC list.

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after the list update.

Manage Tags

Adds or removes tags on the caller's lead.

Adds or removes the selected tags on the matched lead, then continues.

When to use it. Tag callers by the path they took (e.g. "called-after-hours").

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after updating tags.

Reassign Lead to

Reassigns the caller's lead to a user, role, or team.

Changes the lead owner/assignment to the chosen user, role, or team, then continues.

When to use it. Route ownership of inbound leads based on the path taken.

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after reassigning the contact.

Update Lead Stage

Sets the lead's lifecycle stage.

Writes a lifecycle stage onto the matched lead, then continues. The live ${lifecycle_stage} variable is updated too.

When to use it. Advance a caller (e.g. to "engaged" or "customer") based on the path they took.

Outputs
  • Next · Continues after updating the stage.
Worth knowing
  • Supports ${VAR} - e.g. set from a webhook result.
  • No-op when the caller is not a known lead.
