Adoptiv vs HubSpot: where does your pipeline actually come from?
If leads arrive because marketing brought them, HubSpot is built for that. If they arrive because somebody picked up the phone, it is the wrong shape.

HubSpot is a very good marketing and sales suite. Forms, email campaigns, attribution, a pipeline and reporting across all of it, with calling available on top.
Adoptiv starts from the call. The dialing, the queues, the routing and the record are one system, and there is no marketing automation suite around it.
The difference in one line
HubSpot is built around the funnel. Adoptiv is built around the phone.
A team whose pipeline is generated by content, ads and forms should buy the product that manages those. A team whose pipeline is generated by dialing should buy the product that dials.
Where the two shapes diverge
| HubSpot | Adoptiv | |
|---|---|---|
| Built around | Marketing and the funnel | The call and the floor |
| Calling | Click to dial, minutes by tier | Every mode through predictive |
| Inbound queues and IVR | Not offered | Included |
| Marketing automation | Included | Not offered |
| Calls on the record | Via the calling add-on | Native, including the recording |
| Best at | Turning attention into pipeline | Turning dialing into conversations |
Two of those rows go against us, and they are the two that matter if marketing is how you grow.
When HubSpot is the better choice
When marketing is the engine. Campaigns, landing pages, lifecycle email and attribution reporting are a genuine discipline, and we do none of it.
Also when the team makes a moderate number of considered calls. A handful of calls a day against a good pipeline does not need a dialing platform, and buying one would be paying for depth nobody touches.
When Adoptiv is the better choice
When the phone is how revenue happens, and the calling parts of a marketing suite have started to feel thin.
- Reps spend more time waiting for connections than talking
- Calls coming in need queues, hours and routing rather than a shared inbox
- Somebody needs a real abandoned rate, not a call count
- Every call should be on the record with its recording, without an add-on
The honest hybrid
Some teams keep marketing in HubSpot and run the calling floor here, and that works as long as one system owns the customer record and everybody knows which one.
It is more moving parts than either vendor would like to admit. Worth doing when marketing and the floor are genuinely two operations, and worth avoiding when they are the same six people.
If the phone is where your pipeline comes from, this is what it looks like built for that.
What we will not overstate
No landing pages, no campaigns, no attribution reporting. If marketing is the engine, HubSpot is doing a job we do not do at all.
Common questions
Yes, and some teams do. Decide which system is the record of a customer before you start, because both trying to be it is where the mess comes from.
